Platform Kids

Platform Kids split into 3 groups on Sunday morning throughout the service;

’Stars’ (3-year-olds - P1)

For the 3-year-olds who are new to Sunday School, we know that this transition will be hard! Go at your own pace- you know your own child and if you feel they need a bit more time, or for you to be present with them for a while- this is totally fine! Our team use age appropriate resources to teach the stories of the Bible and the characteristics of God.

‘King’s Kids’ (P2-P5)

A space for our primary aged kids to explore and build faith. Our team are committed to supporting this group to find God in their everyday life at home, in school and with their friends. Our hope is that they grow in confidence as we journey the Bible together.

‘Team 3:16’ (P6-P7)

This is a new group and will be led by our Youth Team. Supporting our P6s and P7s through busy years at school, giving space for deeper questions to be asked and getting them ready for the transition to Youth in Year 8!

All age groups will meet together in the Carlisle Hall to begin with for song and prayer, and then will split into meeting rooms!

Platform Youth

Each Sunday, before the service between 10-10.30am we meet for tea, juice or hot chocolate and a discussion around the sermon topic!

Y8s are invited to mentor the P6-P7 group alongside our Youth leaders once per month on Sundays during the service.

Our Youth are encouraged to stay in the service on a Sunday morning, supported by our Youth Team and use of sermon templates. We sit together with our Youth and want to encourage them to attend church as we support them in listening to and digesting the sermon.
