What to Expect at Downshire.
Community.
Downshire is first and foremost a community of believers who are all on a journey of faith with our Lord Jesus Christ. As a result of our community focus, we are passionate about the community beyond our four walls, and are driven at our core by the desire to help and reach those around us.
Family.
We are a family of individuals from all walks of life and stages of our faith journey. As with all families, everyone is welcome, from the youngest to the oldest, just as you are. This means you need not spend too much worrying about what to wear on a Sunday, or how much noise your kids make. We see this as the staple of any good family.
Focus.
Ultimately we do it all together for one key reason. To glorify the name of Jesus, worship him, and praise him for all he has done for us. We thrive on our joint focus on worshipping God, and developing our relationship with him. We are driven by his love for us, and excited to share it with the world around us.
